The Carpenter House

The Carpenter House is a place of peace and comfort for those facing terminal illnesses. Inside this welcoming space, patients receive around-the-clock attention and amenities that make them feel safe and at ease — and become part of a community that makes them feel right at home. The Carpenter House is more than just a hospice facility; it’s a place where families and patients can find peace as they plan for and face the challenges ahead.

Sometimes there was no reason to use words; your presence emoted compassion and empathy, what we would like to believe was Christ-like. You loved and cared for our brother while we couldn't.

Our Facilities

The Carpenter House offers a welcoming and home-like environment for patients and their families. Our facilities include private and semi-private rooms that patients can "make their own" and relax within; we also provide 24-hour care so that patients feel safe and at ease at any hour of the day or night.

Our facilities offer a wide variety of amenities to make our patients and their family members feel at home. From snack bars and dining areas, occasional lunches and treats provided by local restaurants, shops and the community, to play areas for children and libraries with computer access, our facilities all strive to provide for the needs of those who entrust us to their care.

Your facility is beautiful and warm — a wonderful welcoming atmosphere for grieving families. I was always made to feel welcome and not in anyone’s way.

Thank you for the loving care you gave my mother. She spent only 32 hours at The Carpenter House, but they were full of great tender care and love. Thanks for the support you gave me as well.
